Hello Harar Academy Alumni Members and families,

The first 2 pictures(with the blue cap) are of my granddaughter Merekat Adawa Dorsey. I am so happy and wanted to share with you all her acomplishment. She graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies.

The third and fourth pictures (yellow cap and gown) are of my granddaughter Hiwot Balemlay. She also graduated but from high school. Hiwot is now deciding between a couple of universities that want her to attend their school. And when the fall starts she will be a freshman in college.

Yemsrach and I are both very happy and proud and wanted to share our joy with you. Even in a pandemic success is possible. We are so proud of our granddaughters and everyone else in the graduating class of 2020. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Stay safe.
